A vacant, stone, three-story church in Harlem featuring a gothic and Tudor façade and Romanesque arched stained glass windows has come to market priced at $3.15 million.
The 15,510-square-foot building, located two blocks from 125th Street, could either continue to serve as church, be converted to a residential property of up to 33,000 square feet, or a community facility of approximately 53,625 square feet.
Eastern Consolidated's Director Louis Ricci, with Senior Director Alan P. Miller and Senior Financial Analyst Paul Nigido are representing the seller, RLB 2050 Funding LLC, in marketing the property.
The property is accessible by the 2 and 3 subway lines that run along Lennox Avenue and the 4, 5, and 6 lines along Lexington. Condominium projects are located to the north and south, and the site contains a frontage of 75 feet along the west side of Fifth Avenue and a depth of 110 feet.
The church is classified as a miscellaneous religious property, owned by a non-profit organization and is exempt from real estate taxes.
