Sunshine Day Care has signed a 5,000 square foot lease at 1330 Fifth Avenue, between 111th and 112th Streets, just north of Central Park.
The leasing team of Faith Hope Consolo, Chairman and Joseph Aquino, Executive Vice President, along with Arthur Maglio, of Prudential Douglas Elliman's Retail Group, represented the landlord in the transaction.
The daycare facility, which has two other units in Brooklyn and the Bronx, provides full- and part-time services for children, ages three months to twelve years.
Other retail in the immediate area includes Ottomanelli Brothers, Carver Bank, New York Sports Club and H&R Block. On the ground level of 1280 Fifth Avenue, the Robert A.M. Stern-designed luxury condominium on 110th Street and Fifth Avenue, the Museum for African Art is nearing completion. The much-anticipated center represents the first new addition to Manhattan's legendary Museum Mile since the Guggenheim was built in 1959.
