BROOKLYN - Houston-based Benchmark Hospital International will operate the $25 million Hotel 718 for Brooklyn-based V3 Hotels when it opens in November.
The 128-room hotel will be built at 231 Duffield St. in downtown Brooklyn. H. Thomas O'Hara designed the 19-story structure, which features floor-to-ceiling windows, rooftop sundeck, spa, cardio-fitness room and 24-hour Brooklyn-centric concierge services.
The hotel is rising within walking distance of MetroTech Center, court buildings and the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges. Also close by is the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Brooklyn Museum of Art, Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and Frederick Law Olmsted's Prospect Park.
